Termites on Trees

Termites on Trees

Both Termites and bacteria can harm trees, causing them to collapse and resulting in casualties. Among all the wood-damaging insects, white ants are the most destructive and have large colonies that can cause enormous losses in a short period of time.

To eliminate them, experts will be sent to inspect the trees with professional equipment and conduct on-site assessments and pest control plans. All pesticides used by the Pest Control Company have been approved for use by the Fisheries and Agriculture Department.

Like humans or animals, trees can get sick, which is a very common occurrence. The reasons for tree disease are as follows:

1. Pest problems caused by harmful insects or arthropods
2. Physiological problems caused by the environment.
3. Disease problems caused by pathogenic microorganisms or parasitic plants
4. Hazards caused by erosion of aphids and white ants, etc.

Termites are the most destructive as they can hollow out an entire plant, causing it to wither, die or even collapse, posing a threat to life.

Prevention and Treatment of Termited and Soil Treatment

The main approach is to use slow-acting pesticides in the soil, which, when termites attempt to invade trees, will be carried back to their nests through ingestion or skin contact, thereby spreading and ultimately eradicating the white ant population that has already invaded the tree. Termites typically forage for food close to the ground, so soil treatment with pesticides can create a barrier and a complete protection system. Termites will be killed as they pass through the treated soil or come into contact with the pesticide.

Baiting method:
This is the most environmentally friendly termite control method and is divided into two types: above-ground and below-ground. After eating the bait with the growth inhibitor, termites will spread it to the entire colony, causing the number of ants to decrease until they are completely eliminated.

Preventive methods:
1. Be sure to completely remove any remaining termites before planting to prevent the spread of termites from other areas and causing harm.
2. Thoroughly clean up dead wood and other debris near the forest to prevent termites from having access to rich food sources and infesting trees.
3. Seal hollow tree trunks with cement mortar to prevent termites from invading from the outside.

Termite control comes with a warranty period of 12-24 months.

Shellfish:

It directly feeds on the sap of young leaves, causing plant growth disruption, secreting honeydew, inducing coal disease, and affecting photosynthesis.

Characteristics of Shellworm

a. Lemon fruit white crustacean: female crustacean is nearly round, flattened and white, thin and opaque, dense in groups.

b. Wax borer: the female adult is covered with thick gray-white wax shell, only the feet are exposed as light red.

c. Pink crustaceans: the insects have countless short hairs around the body, the hairs are covered with white powder, clearly recognizable. Body soft. No shell, can move.
